An appeal against an assessment, including any relevant laboratory evidence, should be made in writing to email@example.com. Any errors made by UK NEQAS in assigning your results will be rectified and an amended report issued. Appeals will be acknowledged in writing within 2 working days.
Appeals are reviewed on an individual basis by the Directors and Operations Manager in the first instance. If an appeal cannot be easily approved, a Director or Operations Manager will present the appeal at the next Steering Committee meeting for a decision. The participant laboratory will be informed of the outcome of the Committee’s decision as soon as possible (and usually within ten working days) of the Steering Committee meeting. The Committee’s decision is final.
